Process & Requirements

When ordering, I will request multiple photos per subject from you as reference for drawing your commission. For more information on how to take the best photos please see my guide on taking good photographs of your pet. A range of photos from different angles is good and I work mainly from one photo.
Upon agreement of the size and contents of the commission you will be asked to sign a Commission Agreement Contract which can be completed either digitally or via post.
A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total price is required before I begin work on your commission. Deposits can be made via Paypal, cheque, bank transfer, or cash if you live locally and are able to meet in person. You will not be asked for full payment until your commission is complete and ready to be sent to you. If you are paying your deposit by cheque I will wait until the cheque has cleared before starting drawing.
The time it takes to complete a commission is heavily dependent on how large the commission is and what period of the year it is. Normally it takes me 2-4 weeks to complete a commission, however during busy times (especially Christmas) it may take me a little longer. Please be sure to let me know if there is a specific deadline for your commission (e.g. for a birthday, Christmas or anniversary) to ensure it will be completed before that date.
Once the commission is complete I will contact you requesting the remaining cost of the commission and your delivery address. Once received, I will send your commission to you using Royal Mail insured and tracked delivery. All original artwork comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
